Fifteen films that will always stick with me

I was tagged by a friend on Facebook...  so here we go!

The Rules: Don't take too long to think about it. 15 films that you've seen that will always stick with you. Take no more than 15 minutes to decide. Actually this is a bit difficult for me since I'm really not much of a film buff. No particular order except for the first two...

1. The Princess Bride
2. The Lord of the Rings (Fellowship, Two Towers, and Return of the King) trilogy (I know it's three films but I like to think of it as one 18-hour extravaganza when I watch the extended DVD versions one after another!)
3. K-19
4. Jonathan Livingston Seagull
5. Sound of Music
6. Conan the Barbarian
7. The Bourne Identity, Bourne Supremacy, and Bourne Ultimatum (all excellent action films, again best if watched back-to-back-to-back)
8. Tank Girl
9. Finding Nemo
10. Wall-E
11. Fantasia
12. Star Wars
13. Roman Holiday
14. Alien
15. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Of the fifteen mentioned above, there is only one that I would NEVER see again - and that would be K-19.  It is easily the most heartbreaking movie I have ever seen.  Alien is another one that I would avoid seeing again, because it is so scary.  All the rest are favorites that I would - and will - see whenever they are on the TV or even on my iPhone (which is where the Bourne movies are at the moment).

Meme Mosaic

From a fellow blogger, Cherrye, over at My Bella Vita... this little exercise, which is fun but definitely dragged me off task this evening... I did have a few issues with the mosaic from Big Huge Labs and had to create it twice. Interestingly the search produced different choices the second time, I guess because FlickrSearch defaults to "interestingness" and that changes every second or so. Big Huge Labs is a great place to fool around with photos so have some fun.

2. What is your favorite food? Ripe avocado... yum!!!

4. What is your favorite color? Green. This photo has so many shades!

5. Who is your celebrity crush? The immortal Sean Connery.

6. Favorite drink? Water.

7. Dream vacation? Madagascar... one of these days.

8. Favorite dessert? Gelato!

9. What you want to be when you grow up? A photographer... but a bit less adventurous than this one!

10. What do you love most in life? Being in love.

11. One Word to describe you. One word is really tough... and too easy to just say "unique" which we all are. So I chose "stillness" as my keyword, and I love how this photo shows the world above and the world below, light and darkness...

12. Your flickr name. AmyEmilia This kaleidoscope is one of my favorite creations ever.
